Newer front brakes, recently replaced manifold gasket, coolant system flush, Recent tune up including filters, spark plugs and lubricants. clean cloth interior, decent tires, roof rack, power driver´s seat, power windows, power locks(does not have keyless entry) towing package, am/fm cassette and cd, Four doors, rear barn style back door, running boards, push button four wheel drive, full size spare tire, lots of cargo room. I averaged about 16mpg. The not so good: The turn signal clicks randomly(very obnoxious) doesn´t light up unless you turn it on just sounds like it is on. Needs a new rubber piece in the steering column to fix. (a $7 part) Driver´s side rear fender behind the bumper is a dent,(see pic) was on the bumper too but we replaced the bumper. Reverse does not like to work when it is super cold outside but has no problems when warm. not sure what the issue is, was told it could be as serious as needing a new Tranny and was also told that a bottle of Lucas brand transmission fix would work or even a Transmission flush would be in order especially because of her age. Have not had this issue since the weather has warmed up.Check engine light comes on and off sporadically, not sure what it is. Thanks for looking! Details: 1980 1ton Chevy Custom dually. AKA (Lurch) Started out as a fleet side single wheel axle truck. I took a 1ton dually axle from a 79´ Chevy and put it in. This axle was originally made as a cab & Chassis axle, which means that it is narrower than a regular dually axle. Typically you see these in trucks with flat beds. I was going for a full dually conversion, but just haven´t gotten around to finishing it up. I do have several options for this truck. You can either use the set of spacers I have for the front wheels -or- the full spindle hubs that I pulled off of the 79 and bolt them on. Its up to you. I also have lowering springs for the front if you so wish to lower the front. This is not a show truck, but has been a hard working truck and leaves its marks accordingly. Powered by a 350 with a 4spd standard. So much more to tell, call or text to come look, listen. And serious Inquiries only!!!
