Details: This 1982 chevy C10 has had a complete frame off restoration. Over 15K in parts and over a year and a half were dedicated to the build of this incredible truck. If an item could be replaced or upgraded, it has been done and done right. The truck is a true sleeper until you hear it. The following is a partial list of what was done to the truck... ENGINE- Pulled from a 1969 Chevy Chevelle 396ci. Engine has closed chambered oval port heads with mild port work done. Forged crank, rods and speedpro .30 over pistons. Complete comp cams kit with .550/.292 cam and new lifters, valves, springs, retainers and locks. Cloyes double roller timing chain. Edelbrock rpm intake with pro-form 850 carb. Dynomax big tube ceramic headers with full 3´ exhaust dumped through flowmasters. Huge Howe aluminum 4-row radiator. MSD 6AL ignition box with msd distributer. Optima yellow top battery. Engine has 10.5:1 compression and runs fine on 91. Pulls good vacuum at idle with no brake issues. Sounds like a pro street machine. Very streetable with no driveability issues.TRANSMISSION- Short shaft turbo 400 with complete TCI super streetfighter kit. Manual/automatic valvebody, Coan 3K stall converter, 2 quart extra deep TCI pan, temperature gauge. TCI outlaw shifter custom mounted on floor. HUGE 4 pass cooler hardlined in.REAREND- Narrowed ford 9´ with Moser 31 spline axles, richmond 4.11 gears, new ford Trac-Loc posi unit and all new bearings and seals. Also have 3.08 gears that go with truck. Great care was taken to narrow the axle correctly to fit huge tires without tubbing the truck. Axle was stripped down and painted black.SUSPENSION- Lowered 6´ in the back and 4´ in the front. The truck rides and drives like a brand new stock truck. 3´ drop spindles with 1´ springs in front and 2´ springs and shackles in the back. The truck hooks and doesn´t axle hop at all. The entire front end has new parts including upper and lower ball joints, control arm bushings, etc.. Truck has custom 1 1/4´ sway bar that helps it handle great. Brakes are all new and completely rebuilt.WHEELS AND TIRES- Centerline Telestars 15x10 and 15x6 with new goodyears in front and new 295/55/15 MT streets in the rear.PAINT AND BODY- 5K paint job done right. Entire truck was removed from frame and chemically stripped to bare metal. The only body part needing replacement was the hood. There was a small amount of rust on the underside of the lip of the hood so it was replaced. There is ZERO RUST on this truck. None in the door frames, rockers, cab-corners, battery area- that´s why it was chosen for this project. If you know 73-87 chevy trucks, you know how hard this is to find. PPG Deltron toner white was applied with 3 base coats and three clear coats. Entire truck was wet sanded and buffed to an incredible mirror like shine. The entire cab interior was painted also. It is by far one of the nicest white paint jobs i´ve seen. Bed has spray in bedliner and is close to perfect. Frame and undersides coated with por-15 material. New chrome bumpers f+r with new lenses all the way around.INTERIOR- Everything is new- panels, dash, windshield, weatherstripping, carpet all rubber parts, window gaskets. Full auto meter ultra-light gauges in stock locations. Nice sony stereo. The stock seat frame was notched for the shifter and still allows seat adjustments.This truck is extremely clean and very fast. It has been adult owned and driven and I have never had issues with it. It only has about 3300 miles since it was built.This truck is ultra reliable and these engines are beasts. I would not hesitate to throw in the 3.08 gears and drive it across the country and back... well, the gas may be an issue! The truck never gets over 170*, even when it´s 100+ outside. I hate to sell it, but i have too many toys currently. NO TRADES and please don´t waste my time and yours with silly offers. No joy rides but serious buyers will be able to drive the truck. I have been into these trucks for 20+ years and this is by far the nicest driver i have ever seen. $18,000 OBO.
