Details: This is a 1999 Chevy Tahoe I have owned this vehicle since 2001 it has 186,000 miles and climbing as I am still driving it until my new one arrives. I have been very particular in maintaining this vehicle as I have spent at least $7000.00 in the last year for repairs with the intention of keeping this vehicle unfortunately due to my youngest child hitting a growth spurt it is very difficult for our whole family to travel together because it doesn´t have a third row seat. Here is a list of the repairs that I can remember and I do have the receipts to back these repairs up. Transfer case, fuel pump, new exhaust with all new oxygen sensors, new radiator with all new hoses and thermostat , upper and lower intake gaskets, fuel regulator which is inside the intake, battery, all new fuel injectors, brakes all the way around and new front rotors that are dimpled and slotted to reduce heat and warping of the rotors, plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor, all U-joints have been replaced as well, front grille and head light housing due to the fogging over the years and the chrome on the grille was not in the best shape from weathering and I´m sure there are some more that I cannot think of right now. Ok now the bad which is only two thing in my opinion the two drivers side doors have dents in each one of them it is purely cosmetic doors still function properly and do not leak in anyway and are rust free as is the rest of the vehicle free of rust. Second is that the fuel gauge looks as though it is vibrating at times however it still works accurately and has never failed from what I´m told this is not uncommon with these vehicles. These two doors were hit while the vehicle was parked at the pharmacy and the person who hit it did not have insurance so I didn´t have them repaired as it was purely cosmetic and did not affect the operation or function of the doors. I have also changed the oil in this vehicle every 3000/4000 miles and the transmission and front and rear pumpkins about every two years.
