Details: I have a 4x4, 79 chevy truck for sale. I just put a new master cylinder and a radiator in it. Not to long ago I put new brakes all the way around and new rotors in the front. It has a 305 motor that has a lot of miles on it. Also has 3 speed automatic transmittion in it. 33x12.50 tires with about half tred on a 15x10 inch rim. The frame and front end of the truck are solid but the bed has a lot of rust in it. The problems with the truck are that the front right caliper is sticking and needs to be replaced, also the transfer case has an issue. When you put the transfer case in 2 wheel drive it acts like it is neutral so I run the truck in 4 HI and unlock the hubs. Been like this since I bought it 6 or 7 years ago. 4 HI and 4 LOW both work fine. Great for hunting or fourwheeling. The tires have good tread left and the 4 wheel drive works great. Had a fresh oil and filter change, new spark plugs, new heater core, new fuel pump, new fuel filter and new wipers in January this year. A/C worked but due to work being done it was discharged and I haven´t had it recharged. Jensen AM/FM/CD stereo. In need of a good cleaning as it was parked under pine trees. I kept this for a ´just in case it snows´ vehicle. Power windows and door locks need work. The windows go up and down but could use guides they will continue to work without them though. The door locks try to work but it acts like the electric part in the door doesn´t produce enough force to work the lock. Drivers seat has tears and dash is cracked, although it is covered by a bought dash pad. Headliner is in good shape with no sagging. Truck isn´t for show but it is mechanicaly sound. Details: hey a tree jumped out in front of my truck on saturday evening. i have so many new parts on this thing and the motor and tranny are so strong i cant scrap the whole thing so heres the deal. if you come pull the motor and tranny i´ll take $500, its a 350 4bolt main with edlebrock performer intake, quadrajet, and long tube headers that are maybe 3 months old. accel distributor, and mild cam, not sure on the specs but it thumps somewhat. oh and chrome valve covers, oil pan, and timing cover, you can also take the exhaust, older flowmasters. with a turbo 400 tranny. i´m keeping the battery. i could get $1000 just for the drivetrain if i pulled it myself but i don´t have the time. or you could make me an offer on the whole truck. it weighs around 5000 lbs. and scraps 13.50 a hundred right now. so if you have a rollback or wrecker and the time and space to part it out, this is a great opporitunity for you to make some money. my yard isn´t a u-pull it so i´m only selling the motor and tranny seperate and i´ll scrap the rest, or you could buy the whole thing. the motor and tranny are still in the mounts, and nothing on them were damaged, all the accesories are still good including a near brand new alternator, you´d have to unbolt the hood and cut the lever to get it off and get the smashed up radiator out of the way to get to the motor, but i don´t think its that big of a deal. the truck does have a clean n.c. title but the front part of the frame is cocked inwards so thats why i´m not even messing with fixing it. but like i say, i can´t stand to look at it all smashed up so this is a good opporitunity for someone to make some money, also has one week old brake pads and a one week old rotor on one side. new axle seals and wheel cylinder in the back. theres so many new and good parts on this thing you could make a pile of money parting it out. so if your interested let me know 828-228-6197. my names dan.oh, and the windows were tinted about two days before i wrecked it(just to clarify again, i´m only selling the motor and trans seperate, you can either just buy them or just buy the whole truck)(also wheels are not for sale, already sold them to my neighbor, but it will have s-10 rally wheels on it instead of those 8.5 rally´s on there now´ Location: hickory ncit´s NOT ok to contact this poster with services or other commercial interests
