It has the 5.7 litre (350 small block) fuel injected engine with 4 speed OD automatic transmission and great working 4WD. This truck runs like a champ, due to the completely new engine which has just under 5k miles on it. The body has 273k miles on it, but looks like half that. This truck is perfect for anybody who loves a good old truck and is looking for a very reliable work or fun truckHere is what I have into it:3500 - Bought it in August100 - Brand new interstate battery with 7 year warranty, top of the line battery Also had front differential fluid and transfer case fluid replaced2500 - In September the engine was replaced with a brand new one at Automotive Specialists on Taylor blvd200 - Alternator was also replaced at the same time700 - Exhaust was completely replaced at the same time with shorty headers to 3´ single exhaust all the way back (sounds really good, not too loud but gives a great rumble when you get on it)750 - Brand new BF Goodwrench tires installed on Black Friday which was a great deal for these tires, warrantied for 50k miles100 - Replaced front rotors and pads, and rear shoes7850 - TotalSo in all this truck is well worth my asking price and I would love to keep it but I recently got a job delivering pizza and I am looking to get into a smaller like a Honda or VW with better mileage.Now for what is wrong with the truck, while the engine and drive train are flawless, the paint is in not so good of condition, the hood is scratched up pretty bad, and the clear coat is peeling off the roof, also I just got a dent in the passenger side rear quarter panel. This does not affect the drivability of the truck nor does it hinder the door or window opening, it is pure cosmetic. (And the reason why I have lowered my price so much) Also the power mirrors do not work, HOWEVER, the power windows and power driver seat DO work great. The A/C on this truck doesn´t run work, the compressor turns freely so I am not sure what is wrong with that, could just need recharge or something electrical. But all other HVAC controls work, heat works great and the fans blow hard. Truck has a heavy duty Reese hitch on it as well as an electronic Reece tow brake. Lastly, the interior is in good condition, the seats are super comfortable and have no tears or rips whatsoever, only a cigarette burn from the PO. This truck has a bench seat in the front and back, can sit 6 people. Truck also has an old delta toolbox that can go with it and a very good condition bed liner in it.I am looking for 3500 cash, or will be willing to work out a trade for a small car (honda, acura. vw, audi, bmw, saturn, subaru, etc) that gets good gas mileage (above 25mpg) and I WOULD ABSOLUTELY LOVE if it was a 5 speed.
