Details: Selling a 1957 Chevrolet Belair 2-door hardtop old school gasser project. This car was built as a gasser-style drag racer back in the 70´s and 80´s and saw action on Montana dragstrips. It hasn´t been driven since. According to a former owner it used to race with a 454 cross-ram setup and powerglide transmission. It has a straight tube axle front suspension with drum brakes. The body is nice with minimal rust in the typical spots. Floor supports are solid. The rear quarter panels will need some work. All of the original chrome is intact. The glass is there. The original front and rear seat are gone and now has only one high back seat for the driver. The car comes with a high performance old school 327 that features a tunnel ram with two Holley carbs. I also have a Turbo 400 that goes with it. Neither are installed in the car as the body is just a roller at this point. I have a another hood for it and another frame is available. The wheels and tires shown in the pictures do not go with the car but a vintage set of aluminum slots with slicks are included. Great car to restore as a gasser or as a resto rod. Details: 1972 Chevy Truck. Old Repaint, rust coming through in some areas. Runs good. Has been my daily driver till I bought an old van I like better. 350/350TH auto tranny. Engine runs good, but puffs a bit of smoke on start-up from worn valve guides. doesn´t affect performance, so I´ve never fixed it. nice daily driver, but not a show truck.
