Details: Hello there. I am currently selling my 1991 Chevy Camaro RS that I have been working on the last few months. The only reason why I am even selling the car is because my needs have changed recently and I am in need of a truck for hauling and work, so I must sell the Camaro. Here is a little about the car. The car is blue with grey cloth interior. It has a 305 V-8 and an automatic transmission. It is also equipped with power door locks, power windows, aftermarket Pioneer CD player, air conditioning, tilt steering, and dual exhaust. It has a current inspection (efeective through Jan. 2013) and the liscence tags are good, also. This car has had a few items replaced or repaired already and as a result, this car runs exceptionally smooth and strong for a 21 year old car. It will fire up every time and has never let me down the entire time I have owned it. It currently has 134,113 original miles on it and I have driven this car from Mt.Enterprise to Tyler to Longview and back to Mt.Enterprise many times without so much as a hick-up. In other words, the car is extremely reliable. The motor and transmission are strong, and the dual exhaust sounds very nice when you crank it up and especially when you take off going down the road......I always loved the ´roar´ of the exhaust. LOL It does not use a drop of oil, transmission fluid, or any other fluids. The only thing that I have had to add to it is coolant for those cold days and nights we were having a little while back, nothing else. All lights (except the high beams......see below), turn signals, reverse lights, dome light, and power accessories work great. However, with the car being 21 years old, it obvously needs a few things to get it back to showroom quality. As you can see in the pictures, the most obvious thing that is needed is some light body work and new paint. The car looks very good, and I have gotten many good looks with the way it looks now, but it needs new paint and some body work on the front fenders and bumper to bring it back to showroom quality. Below is a list of the things that need to be addressed with the car. Most of these items are small in nature and are more annoying than anything, but here they are :the high beam headlights will not click on. when you pull the lever on the steering column, they will not come on......I honestly do not know what the cause of this is, and they were working when I first bought the car. This happened AFTER I got the car inspected,thank God, and you have until January of 2013 to get it taken care of.......that´s when the current inspection is up.the passenger side power window goes down about 2 to 3 inches, then stops and a clicking sound can be heard. The window will go back up. I have had it looked at and they have told me that the regulator had to be changed......don´t know how true that is, as I thought that it was just off of the tracks. The window motor itself still works and The drivers side window works perfectly. the A/C and heat work, but for some reason the blower has stopped working. Again, this was working perfectly when I first bought the car. The fuses have been checked and they are fine.....I´m thinking that it is the blower motor or the blower switch in the dash. the passenger front seat has two small tears in the upholstery right along the seam on the bolster, or edge of the seat facing the window. There are no gaping holes or missing or torn foam.....just slight tears in the upholstery. like a lot of cars this age, the dash pad (top of dash) is cracked in two places at each speaker grill. .......nothing a new dash pad or dash cover won´t fix.Ok, I think that covers all that needs to be done to the car. These tires have less than 1,000 miles on them and are still brand new! ....................... ........................ ....................... I am asking $3,500 and that price is firm. I may be willing to talk about trading for a 1977 - 1998 Chevy or GMC truck, but only if the truck is in very good running and driving condition and in at least very good cosmetic condition.......no diesels or 4 doors....only regular cab or maybe extended cab. While he was in the process of getting his license , I drove the truck for a couple of months. I realized that there is way too much power under the hood for a beginner driver like him. The body is in excellent shape and the interior is exquisite with 2 bucket seats and a middle console. Tilt, cruise control, electric windows, electric locks, cd and cassette player, driver and passenger side airbags. The sound sytem is loud, the exhaust roars, and the engine sounds mean. Though the odometer has 135,000 miles, the engine was rebuilt about 35,000 miles ago along with the transmission.
