Details: I have had this 1979 Chevy Pickup for about 10 years now. This is a mans truck and will get everyone´s attention not only on the street but also if you decide to take it off road. About 4 years ago I made the mistake of paying a friend to do an oil change on it and he didn´t put any fluid back in it which caused the engine to seize. So I took a V8 engine with low miles, replaced all of the gaskets, plugs, etc. on it and installed it into the truck. Then about 2-3 years ago I was out doing some hard core offroading and broke the tranny and and the gears of the front axle. So I had the tranny completely rebuilt and installed at Cottman transmissions which ran me about $1800. Since then I have only put less than 100 miles on the tranny. The truck has roll bars on the inside and the outside of the cab. So if you were to ever role this you´d be fine, lol ´knock on wood´. It also has 5 point strap downs for seat belts so that when you are offroading you dont feel a thing. It has a giant fog horn that lets everyone know you are coming and they need to get out of the way, lol. It has so many lights on it that when they are all hooked up you can turn night to day with a flip of a switch. It has two airplane landing lights on the front, another 4 lights on the top and a couple of more on the back. It has an edelbrock carburetor on it that looks good. It also has about an 8 inch lift on it. This has been my baby for 10 years now and I hate to see it go but I haven´t had the time to use it lately and with a new child, am in need of money. So my loss can be your gain. She has alot of life left and I´d love to sell her to someone that would put her to good use and enjoy themselves. Details: For sale is a 1970 Chevy CST-20 3/4 ton truck, long bed, power steering and brakes, 350 with T-350 auto, 2WD.I received this truck from the original owner. The truck has 113,000 original miles and it has been taken very well care of over the years. Just minor surface rust around drivers door jam. Floors are near perfect. Seat is beautiful, dash is great, headliner looks brand new, doors close quietly and the door panels look great, all glass is perfect and the chrome and trim are all in very good condition.The engine was professionally rebuilt at 85,000 miles in 1978 and has only been driven 28,000 since then. It has been stored in a shop for most of the last 20 years. Right now I have the engine out ready for new rings and valve guides do to sitting for many years, the carb is newly rebuilt. The seat has been removed so I could install a new gas tank which I bought and some new carpet. It is now being stored in my heated garage ready to be finished up. It also comes with an all steel Gem-Top canopy.I have run into a financial situation and need to sell the truck now.
