The car is not original, it currently has a 350cid motor with a turbo 350 trans, power disk brakes, new interior, no body damage. I dont have time to take pictures of everything, and the engine bay looks like a 57 chevy with a few dress up parts.The car has all trim minus one wiper arm and trim bezel, and the driver´s front eyebrow of the grill has a crack in it.It is an original California car with the one piece front bumper and seamless frame original equipped with a V8 and built at the LA assembly plantNo body damage except for a few small dings and scratches, the paint is 25 years old and does show some wear but the car was never stored outdoors. The body does need some realignment to get all the seams to match correctly. It does have a small rust spot in the spare tire well, and the front floor boards had a very small rust spot and was repaired with a fiberglass 20 years ago, but are still very solid.All the glass is in good shape except the driver´s rear sliding window has a small crack. The window that needs replacement is the flat glass not the expensive curved glass.The chrome needs to be redone. The bumpers are pitted and need to be repairedAll the stainless trim is in good shape and on the car except for a few small pieces that will need a little repair(small dings).To get the car drivable it will need the front end bushings replaced, they are worn out and all the old fuel removed from the tank, carb and lines.The car has been sitting for a long time; it has some small leaks from the transmission and engine that will need to be repaired.The car will need some restoration. The extent of the restoration will depend on what you want to do with it.I have had a few people question the price I am asking, for a car as complete as this one, with only 6400 nomads built in 1957 and this being a true California car with the correct one piece bumper and seamless frame I am firm on the price. A car like this one will only increase in value and with minimal investment and a lot of work it could easily sell for much more. The current NADA price for this car is $38000 if it was a driver. It would take the fuel system cleaned to make it run, the front end rebuilt to make it safe, and a few small fluid leaks to make it reliable and it would easily meet that criteria. The only reason I am selling it is because I do not have the time to complete it. This is a real Nomad and is very rare with the options it has and where it was built. If you are questioning what I am selling it for, go find another one, I will say good luck on your hunt. I am firm on my price, I do not need to sell it and if I don´t get what I am asking I will keep storing it and maybe someday put it back on the road.
