Details: This truck was brand new from ground up in 2001. 1956 Chevy on 1979 heavy 3/4 ton frame, ´71 350 engine 30 over, SM465 trans and NP 205 tx case. All components had new bearings and front and rear seals, as well as rebuilt engine in 2001. Has about 50,000 miles on it since. 4WDB, PB, PS, two new drivelines in ´01. New clutch and pressure plate in ´01. 4:56 gears put in three or four years ago, Welded rear (14 bolt GM), Detroit TruTrac GM 10 bolt front, all new leaf springs in ´01. Frame was sprayed with red oxide primer, then black frame paint. Frame was sectioned, @8´ removed, welded with fish plate over weld. LED tail lites, completely rewired with 12g THHN in ´01 to Painless 12 ckt. fuse box. This is a 10 year old truck. Heater works (core replaced in 90´s), speedo is off but works, gas gauge is off but works. 29 gal Suburban tank. Filler shaved and is in utility box. Powers Utility box is original to truck. Has slanted rear box and have camper that fits it exactly (it is red). Buff colored ´paint´ is actually Urethane primer, with rattle canned brown stripes. All weather stripping replaced in doors and windows and vent windows, by pros however water has started to leak in thru passenger side door. (truck is currently in garage because of that). New carpet. Truck is very very solid, only rust is on the centers of the running boards above that support bracket. Front bumper is off and bent front drainage ditch. Has small front bumper with plate on and will not get pulled over for no bumper. Has broken Custom AutoSound junkass stereo in factory hole that looks stock with working CD player under dash. Dash has all knobs and looks bone-stock. Speakers in headliner. Custom billet bowtie rearview mirror. All knobs and windows all work (except T for throttle cable operates Choke, while C handle does nothing. Had new bushings in doors. Had both cab corners replaced. Notice bondo on front of hood due to shaving emblem, i have an almost perfect no bondo 57 hood that goes with it, included in sale. I also have the old stock badges but they are in need of shining. Firewall has been filled with slugs and smoothed. Flaming River stainless steel steering shaft. 1979 Chevy tilt column. No E brake. All lights/flashers work. Replaced heater core. Has factory stock original radiator, does not leak. Only gauge that has never worked is temp gauge. Hypereutectic pistons, stock internals, Erson timing gears, Elgin camshaft, billet pulleys, pocket ported and gasket matched heads, Edelbrock intake and carb.Manual choke. Probably more i didn´t list. Tires are worn out. Extra set of 6.5´ wheels. Tail gate lifts out. Has parts bins in box. I also have a new box door for passenger side i spent $500 for a panel pounder to fix because this is an original Powers box. It is not on because i don´t have enough primer on it to put outside. (My spray gun clogged. Same story for the ´57 hood). Bucket seats with head rests from i dunnowhat but clean and comfy. Alot of the truck body was taken down with a small sand blaster before it was primered. Tinted windshield has small chip in bottom that hasn´t grown in 10 years. No cracks in any glass. Factory door mirrors (chrome but painted over). Locks in both door handles, no pits in any chrome. Painless fuse panel. Chevy steering wheel. Billet gas pedal and linkage. Rams horn exhaust, flow master muffs. 100lb rear bumper made out of 1/4´ thick steel pipe. Carpet still looks like new. Price is firm. Currently truck is in Desert Storm camo. Bed is painted to match outside. i spent $10,000 in parts and bodywork to rebuild this in 01.more pics that show all angles at the hotrodders.com website link below. primer only pic shows parts bins in box that were all primered inside and out with the buff polyurathane primer, which is waterproof. Aftermarket Genuine Gear upgraded steel axles in rear.Original automatic locking hubs are upgraded to positive lock Warn manual hubs.All spring, 8 inch Supper-Lift, NO AXLE BLOCKS, and a 3 inch body lift.Extended drop pitman arm and custom steering links.Frame reinforced at steering box.Rancho shocks front and rear.Rancho, double shock steering dampers.Dual electric radiator fans.Custom duel exhaust by Speedway and dual Flow-Master mufflers. There are the things that need a little bit of attention.Some rust on roof and around wheel wells but no holes.Sheet metal is straight but needs paint. Old fire department stripe and some of the old department decal are still on it.I had to radius the fenders and remove most of the front wheel wells to make room for the 44 inchers to clear. Bushwacker extended fender flares are intact but they have seen a little bit of abuse.Air conditioner has a slow leak and needs recharging. It works great when it is charged.Glow plug timer has been wired around and a momentary switch installed to manually warm up the glow plugs to start engine.System is still there but the manual switch is more dependable.Rear electric window has a shorted wire .we replaced the wire but it needs to be rerouted.Oil pressure indicator gauge needs a new tube and has been blocked off. Details: I have a 95 Chevy Tahoe with 232,145 miles on vehicle with a used transplant engine put in, in 2011 no milage data on that engine except for what is listed. The body condition is fair, interior is in fair condition as well. There are some rips and tears. Its all leather interior. It does not have an air cleaner. It has gotten lost. Carpets need to be steam cleaned as well.It does run a little rough but with a little TLC it will be a better vehicle. Runs and drives great otherwise. It has Power windows, Power door locks. Power driver seat. Tilt wheel, Cruise control. New radiator, new 4 wheel drive actuator so the 4 wheel drive does work very well. Complete tune up. Details: I am the second owner of this Suburban, I bought it 6-7 years ago from the original owner who is a good friend of mine. It has the standard 350 auto 1/2 ton drivetrain. I have the full records of this vehicle ever since it was bought new. The chassis has 213k on it, however, the engine is a GM 350 crate motor that has approximately 55k. Not long after the engine was replaced the transmission also received a complete rebuild. The front brakes are all new and have less than 5k on them. Within the last 3k I have put in a new water pump, engine temp sensor, fuel filter, k&n airfilter, spark plugs, plug wires, distributor, ignition coil, heater blower motor and the battery is brand new, only about 3 weeks old. The 4 wheel drive works great with auto locking hubs and 4-hi and 4-lo. The body does have a few dents but with a polish the paint is in good shape. This truck has the rear barn doors. This has been a very reliable truck and has never let me down. I very seldomly need/use it anymore, mostly only when it snows (which it is VERY good in), or when I need to move something large. I am relocating to the midwest this summer and I can´t justify bringing it with me so it needs to go.
