Details: I have for sale my 2001 Chevy Silverado Ext Cab LS. There is approximately 167,000 miles on it. The reason I am selling it is to get a car because I don´t have the use for a truck anymore and I drive 60 miles to work one way. I´m just looking for something with better gas mileage. There are no problems with the truck and I have only had to replace the fuel pump which is common in this year and model around 150,000 miles. I purchased the truck 3 years ago from start with approximately 125,000 on it. There was 1 owner before me who bought it brand new and did not have any problems with it either. Currently I am getting around 16 mpg because its winter and I always let it warm up before driving it. In the summer I average between 18 and 20mpg. I also had the spark plugs and wires replaced last summer. I have changed the oil every 3000 miles or before and the fuel filter every 3 oil changes. This is a great truck with no problems. I have seen this style of truck with over 200,000 miles for $5000, they are very reliable and easy to repair if needed. Interior is in great shape with no rips or tears in the fabric.
